‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Season 2 Promos: Fight in the Shadows http://screenrant.com/agents-shield-season-2-trailer-preview/
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Rollercoaster
There will be multiple comic book-inspired television series to choose from during the upcoming fall TV season; most of them are new to the airwaves, but there are a couple of returnees, including Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series. The show’s first season was, for many, a decidedly mixed bag that nonetheless ultimately managed to (arguably) justify its season two renewal - in part based on the expectation that the second lap of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s run goes smoother than its dash out of the gate.

A Trio of Villains Rumored For 'Batman vs Superman'

ABC has released a pair of promos for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s sophomore season. The first (see above) is a bit of action and humor borrowed from season one, while the second clip (see below) contains actual new footage. Moreover, it’s the latter that foreshadows what Clark Gregg (who’s once again leading the party as Agent Phil Coulson) has promised will be a season that offers more in the way of low-tech espionage adventuring and mature dramatic content.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season two will, as Gregg has put it, in no small part be about Coulson and his team “figuring out what S.H.I.E.L.D. ought to be” in the aftermath of the organization’s collapse last season. The TV spot featured below does indeed allude to the challenging nature of life for Coulson and his Agent family, now that they’re operating off the grid. It’s foremost a tone setter, but the preview also contains glimpses at dangers both new (here, the super-powered Absorbing Man) and lingering from the past (see a bearded Brett Dalton as now-disgraced Agent Ward).
Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Promo Season 2 Sub-ITA ..... The Ward storyline isn’t the only narrative thread left dangling after season one that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be picking up early on during its second season. Coulson looks to continue and experience strange issues as a result of him having taken the GH 325 serum, while more will soon be revealed about Skye’s mysterious past via Kyle MacLachlan’s character. And, as the season two promo above briefly reminds us, we still don’t know what Fitz’ condition is (other than he is still alive), after what happened to him in the season one finale.

Fingers crossed, the answers to the questions will prove to be satisfying, as will the manner in which S.H.I.E.L.D. ends up incorporating new players – be they Lucy Lawless as Agent Isabelle Hartley or Adrianne Palicki (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) as Mockingbird from the Marvel comic book universe – into the fold this season. Feel free and let us know what elements have you interested in checking out S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s next season, in the comments section below.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season two premieres on ABC on September 23rd, 2014 at 9/8 c.

I would love pretty much anything you can give me on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as long as it’s not about romance/’shipping.
Ausiello: When pressed by Matt Mitovich to tease the opening moments of Season 2, EP Jeff Bell ultimately said, “We come in in a surprising way,” adding: “Coulson was always interested in getting back to the roots of S.H.I.E.L.D., to the kind of organization it used to be — you know, this small, covert, ‘men in black’ kind of thing. And I think you get a feel for that when we come into the second season.”
