Mark Forum as Read is not working for me

I know it dosent work on my laptop running an older version of IE.

looks like its a problem between the forum Java and IE6. I get the error icon and the message: Error: Object doesn't support this property or method

i just tried on firefox and the operation works fine

I also just did one via Firefox 2.x and it too worked.
