The HDNet co-founder reveals which HDTV DVD player he would buy and why his high-def network is not carried by Comcast.

HAHA! same thing the rest of us PC users have been saying all along, and exactly what ReplayTV (the REAL DVR inventor and still the best overall box) is advocating.

I no longer DVR movies (in HD-Lite) if I know they are coming out on HD DVD. But that's me.

I have been waiting for the HD-DVD add on for my 360. I have three computers hooked up to four HDTV's. Also i agree about dvr'ing sub par HD. I do use my DVR but not as much as when the channels looked better.

I refuse to pay a single cent to be able to rent anything including HD DVR.
And it's not the money - I pay $15/mo for my NSP for my unlimited newsgroup account...
