Manual timers for free previews 722 DVR

I'm sure I remember being able to set up manual timers in advance of DISH' free previews.

When I got the notice of the preview, I would add the channels to my Favorites list. While the system would not allow me to create preview timers using the program guide until the channels were actually unblocked, I could set up manual timers.

For the upcoming HBO/Cinemax preview this weekend, I find that these channels are absent from the manual timer channel list. I have always been able to set up manual timers before the preview channels were unblocked.

Now it appears I will need to wait, at which time I should be able to create regular timers using the program guide. With 35 timers to set, I wanted to set them up ahead of time, to be able to resolve conflicts.

I tried for Showtime (318), a channel I do not get and I can not pick it to record manually. I don't think I ever tried to set a manual timer for a channel I do not presently get so I do not know if this is a change or not.
