Ive tried blind scan, manual scan, PID scan and nothing, anyone know what the trick is? im getting 94% Level and 70% quality green bars on the Coolsat 6000 but havent been able to make it show on the TV list

That's a C-band question..., correct?

If your LNB problem got resolved, some of us would like to hear what fixed it... so we can learn from it...

Harry,

no I havent resolved the LNBF question (I pretty much destroyed it once I opened it and wanted to know If something was burnt), Im still using the old chaparral feedhorn and LNB that only gets H polarity (since I have no servo motor). The new LNBF will arrive next week, but in the meantime I wanted to know how to get the CW @ 91 on C Band

known issue

many many threads about the workaround :) Most say Coolsat 5000 but the 6000 works too. There are some posts that I have in there that show the workaround

The CW stations on 91W dont have any PAT or PMT info so it wont scan them in. Coolsats cant do "pid scans" like other machines can. The workaround posted is the only way. Here is the exact post

you cant add channels via the 5000 via pid scan...here is what to do

1. scan the channels in on 3920 (the EWTN mux)
2. go to manual scan
3. change that transponder to the CW numbers that Lyngsat shows (3720)...when done entering hit exit and it will saveDO NOT HIT OK AS IT WILL TRY AND SCAN AND YOU LOSE THE EXISTING CHANNELS IN THERE
4. go to channel edit
5. select the first channel on the EWTN mux and edit the pids
6. rename channel and done
7. delete blank channels
8. if you want to scan EWTN in add the transponder manually then rescan

#3 is where Im stuck at, it wont allow me to edit the frequency of the channel, by hitting the green audio button it adds a new TP, yellow deletes it, and red shows me the list, where's the edit?

when you have the 3920 frequency selected just start typing in the new frequency. It will show a pop up with "add" or "edit". Select edit and then you can put int he CW info (3720 H 26700)

what's a good source for knowing the CW programming? I tried TitanTV but selecting the national feed shows a lot of "local programming" when in fact they were showing American Idol rewind. I also tried the main CW website but that's even worse
