Manifest (Netflix)

I'll watch it. But I hope it doesn't get too bizarre. I still can't get the image of that guy puking gallons of water on the sidewalk and drowning out of my head.

I want to get back to the "What actually happened and figure that out, instead of making it a few family soap opera.

As in when ?

The reports I read (and I understand were coming from NBC) did not specify,

Just said that Manifest will be hold or released until midseason.

I understand that would be December or even January 2020

For example NBC released Blacklist season 6 not in September 2018, but until January 2019

If they want to make SURE to kill it off for the second season, that's a good way to do it.

Yes, this way they get away with less episodes per season and also miss the first half of the year so they don't have to take that month long break for Christmas.
What do you want to bet they have a week off some where in the first 6 episodes once they do come back.

When these shows decide to start thier season WAY after the rest of the series start in Sept, people tend to forget about them.

If they get back to what happened and why instead of the drama soap opera show ... I'll continue to watch, but if they continue to Not figure these type of things out ... i'll be gone.

I don't think that pushing back this show until December or even January 2020 will help this show, but that is just
my opinion, and I may be wrong.

And then who knows to what time slot it will be pushed to ?

When NBC did this with the blacklist it pushed it not only to january but to the far corner of early Friday evening.

Having said that, I think Manifest was doing good at the start with content and even ratings for the whole season, and it had some momentum, but
unfortunately for some of us, who wanted to find out more about what the heck happened on that flight, we had
to watch some family drama and the heroine of the show, having an existential dilemma about sleeping with the
ex-fiancee, etc.

In my case I wanted the sci-fi and paranormal, if I wanted family drama, I would go and watch a Lifetime movie.

Season 2 starts Spring '20 in the same time slot (Mondays at 10 PM). Manifest season 2 on NBC - Everything you need to know

Maybe I'm getting too old, but I had all but forgotten about the series. :what2
That's the problem these days, they put off the series until January or Spring and people forget the plot. This show should be premiering the week of Sept 23 like the rest of the shows they have. But no they have some new law show with Jimmy Smits in Manifests time slot.:oldmad

Well, most of the shows have already started their new seasons,

BUT I still haven't been able to find the premiere date for season 2 for this show (Manifest)......

Thought it wasn't returning until January or later.

I'm seeing 13 episodes and slated as a mid-season replacement for something...
