Does anybody have the street address of dish network? I would like to send Charlie a note explaining my displeasure with his 'customer service'.
To summarize:
In April I had a problem with a receiver.
I called Dish to request a replacement
I got the replacement promptly
BUT
The didn't include the UPS return label so I could send the old one back
After multiple calls an emails to 'customer service' I finally got the return label
The next day I sent the defective unit back
Because of the time frame from when I got the new receiver from dish to the time I sent the old one back, I was concerned that I would get charged for not returning the equipment
Two billing cycles past..and no charges on the bill.
So...I figure all is well
This month I get my bill..and there it is $100 for 'equipment'
I call 'customer service' and talk to 'Rick' who has a mysterious Indian accent
He tells me I didn't return the equipment
I tell him my story as described above
He tells me to get the UPS tracking number
After two months I figure all is well..so didn't keep the UPS number
He tells me to call UPS to get it
I call UPS
They tell me that Dish should have the number as they are the original sender!
So...I want to ask good ol Chuckie how he can have such an incompetent service department
