I'm not one for believing in curses and the like, but if I was a MVP NFL player and the need for additional money obviously wasn't concern, I don't think I would be on the cover of Madden.

I never wish injury on any player, but his departure came at the perfect time for one of my fantasy leagues. My opponent this week has Alexander and Willie Parker (bye week). It's a divisional matchup so I'm crossing my fingers things go my way with my underperforming team.

I think what jinxed him was the ESPN commercial where he is in the kitchen making smoothies and he slips and falls after he squirts lemon juice in his eye. I thought about that commercial as soon as I heard he broke his foot.
