LPB on 87w Problems?

Is anyone (other than me) having problems with LPB on 87w? Or can anyone tell me if they have seen a substantial reduction in SQ lately? For the last few days I have had no signal on it or on the LPB feeds transponder (which has always been slightly higher than the LPB transponder).

I am experiencing similar problems seen in this thread (especially my comment!) again.

Last week I was losing LPB fairly often, or getting a very low SQ on it, as well as on the LPB feeds transponder. I had noticed it had been reducing in SQ before that, but was getting it in without pixelation. NOTE: I am using a 75e dish for 87w.

I did a very slight re-point last week, but the dish is pretty much spot on, could only do a slight boost of about 2% increase on both transponders. Anyhow, it has now become worst, and have not got it to come in for the past for days whenever I have checked (which is fairly often). I really don't want to go up on the roof and try another attempt at a re-point when I don't think it will help.

Unlike the previous thread, I am also experiencing a similar problem with the Florida Channel, way lower than my last readings, and at times is gone, or pixelated, other times better but not as high as it was.

All other transponders seem pretty close in SQ to when I last did a re-point and kept notes of SQ (2023). Some are down a bit, but nothing substantial. On the AZBox, two data transponders (11780 V 4999 and 11796 V 4999) are around mid-80s, and 12099 V 1036 high 80's to low 90s.

The CNN Newsource transponder (11961 H 2997) is around 90.

IIRC those channels are very susceptible to rain outages at the uplink. Could be that, maybe?
I wish that was it, but I think it has been going on too long for that, unfortunately. It also could be that they need a re-point of their transmitting dish, or they have reduced SQ on purpose. Since I use a 75e, my SQ woes would show up before anyone who uses, say, a 90cm dish, so am wondering if anyone else has noticed a SQ reduction recently.

I'm currently getting no signal from LPB or its test channel (which is always a little higher). I rescanned Florida and now it's visible though weak (6.8 dB). The rescanned freq is 12044 instead of 12045. I wonder if LPB is off-air? CNN Newsource is typically strong now as is. For me, I would only adjust, if at all, in late afternoon. That's when 87W is stronger.

Nothing on LPB or Florida when I was checking last night.

Thanks to both of you! Good to hear it isn't just me (misery loves company, LOL!). I am getting the Florida channel right now, but is weak, around 44 on the AZBox, use to be mid-70s, like the Lottery channel at 12050 V 4799 (which is also down right now to 60-61, but was 72 last night).

I hope LPB is just having transmitter problems, and is not gone for good.

It's beginning to "fade in" which is what happens with LPB. Though far from locking right now, I'm seeing an SQ 6% bobbling signal on its frequency. Something is there. I bet within 1 or 2 hours it will be locked.
Might come in for you, but it will take a big boost for me for it to come in! Too bad they aren't as strong as CNN Newsource!

LPB Test just beginning to appear. Other LPB channels still MIA.
