I went to readjust a dish last week rain fade was the contemplate saw the LNB had dry rote so i replaced it with a new one lost most of the sig on V . so i got n norther LNB the sig si not all that good did we louse something on that sat. I have an older lnb that has the dry rote too and it works better that the new one out of the box.
I used the ESX522-FE with 3X4 switch and ESX 522 with switch and an old DMX 522 thw old DMX is the one that has the dry tote IT works the best
Has the lnb gotten that bad in the last 2 years or what

I just order a AVENGER 322 0.1dB STANDARD TWIN LINEAR KU BAND LNBF
hope this works for me

i would also check all your cable ends and switches . Your first out reason doesn't have to be just rain fade and losing the lower voltage transponders sounds like a weak/corroded cable ends or other non lnb problem.

I'd check ends and cables like kodaz mentions.
I had the same LNB for 5+ years with no issues (recently switched but not because of it going bad)
