Loud High Pitched Noise on H3.

Work around is to turn off Dolby Digital in the Audio Output settings on the H3.

That seems to do the trick. Thanks for the suggestion.

For the past several days I have been noticing that while performing certain functions such as pause, slow motion, and other DVR related functions, I occasionally get a very loud high-pitched noise.

Probably a garden Gnome...
Those little suckers get into everything...

I get the same thing through my TV speakers when resuming from pause on my Hopper 3. It has been happening for at least a few months now. I don't have a Sony though, so it doesn't seem to be limited to that. I run through an OPPO blu-ray player to a Panasonic TV.
