Lost OTA on 612

I've lost the OTA channels through my vip612. When I plug straight into the TV with the antenna they are there. Did the tuner go bad or is there some other issue? Thanks!

You might have to re-add the locals. I think the following steps will return your OTA locals on the 612.

1. Turn off 612
2. Hook up your OTA antenna to the 612
3. Turn on 612 and TV
4. On the Remote, Press Menu, Installation, Local Channels (8)
5. From the Locals Menu, select Scan
6. After Scan is complete, select Save/Ok

The locals should now be added to your Guide.

Check you HDTV setup and see if under Analog Type it is set for Off Air, not Cable.

Also, Check your cable. I was losing signal strength and then finally the channels because I had a non-RG6 cable. I completely deleted the channels and re-scanned.
