I have a Channel Master StealthTenna which is hooked up through the 622 DVR.

For some reason I have lost all my UHF channels but the VHF channels come in as usual. When I hook up the antenna directly to the TV I can receive the UHF channels, but not through the DVR anymore. I have zero signal strength.

Any thoughts?

Is there a switch on the DVR where you can switch between cable/antenna input? It sounds like the input is set for cable TV instead of an outdoor antenna. The "cable/air" setting will probably be somewhere in the "set-up" section of the menu rather than an actual switch.

In the HDTV setup menu there is a selection for offair and cable - be sure it is set to offair.

I just tried setting mine (vip722) to cable and hooking up our basic cable to it, it found nothing... Shouldn't it find all the basic channels that the tv tuner finds? We have like 60 or so channels since we have cable internet, but 722 see nothing...

It looks at the right frequencies but it is looking for ATSC digital signals whereas cable uses QAM modulation.

Built an antenna, it gets nothing...

Minneapolis gets their 1st low powered digital
