Lost Local Channels--Spot beam 23

I have a DP 508 w/twin LNB in Vermont. I subscribe to local channels which work fine in Vermont. Have a spare DP 500 that I took to RI and I was, until recently, able to also receive local Vermont channels in RI. Now I no longer can and I think it has something to do with spotbeam 23 which is what the error message says when searching for the channel. The LNB in RI checks out fine. I am on satellites 110 & 119. Is there a work-around or has something changed with satellites that will leave me without locals? In RI am I out of range of the satellite that provides local Vermont channels?

I have had trouble on 9/27 with two of my 508. They kept acquiring signal and rebooting, some sort of software problems. Still waiting for one good replacement from Dish Network.
