Lost Fox 23 Albany, NY

It just shows you how much I watch fox when I noticed in the guide on channel 7108 "WXXA removed FOX 23". Both sides are blaming the other for the outage so it doesn't appear there will be a solution anytime soon. Dish says the solution is an antenna and I agree its time to drop the Welcome Pack for the antenna :D

Hmmm, it should be giving you an FCC PDF file. Let's see if this one works:

DOC-335170A1

Nope, that doesn't work either. Try copying and pasting the link into your browser:

https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DOC-335170A1.pdf

Thanks for that link! And so how is it that Bennington County is getting in state locals and I'm not. Ok the TV station is not going to request it, the Satellite Company is not going to request it and we have no county government. Right now as I mentioned earlier there is a fight about in state locals in Berkshire County on cable systems and there has been some noise from a few of the local State Representatives about it. Basically Spectrum is saying it costs too much for them to get carriage agreements with out of DMA in state locals so they dropped them. The State Reps have made some noise in the Newspaper, but as far as I know nothing has happened. I don't have cable and is still is not available here. Based on that filing I don't think the satellite customer in this county has a prayer. If I lived 15 miles to the north I would get Albany and Burlington. I would prefer Albany and Boston. I would even take Albany and Springfield but would prefer Boston.

Obviously I don't know why you're not getting in-state locals. If you "moved" to a ZIP in Windham County, Vt, you would get the Boston and Burlington DMA's on Dish.

Got an email from DISH saying they had reached a temporary agreement with Shield Media until April 15th. Checked my guide through Dish Anywhere and it is back in the guide.

Hey, david_jr! As we navigate through this unprecedented time, our priority is delivering you your local content. We appreciate your patience as we continue to work with the channel providers to come to a long term agreement.

It's now the 19th (for 28 more minutes) and this channel is still on. The only thing I noticed is it is not part of Prime Time Any Time. I thought it was because the channel was gone then came back. So I turned off Prime Time and reenabled it and it still didn't become part of PTAT. Then I upgraded from HWS to a H3 and enabled PTAT on all channels for all days. Fox 23 still not part of PTAT even on the new equipment. So I am guessing that they agreed to put it back on, but not allow it to go into PTAT.
