Just watching tv, the picture pixilated then searching for satellite came on. No signal is present on 82 or 91........went and checked my other receiver which is connected to a completely seperate dish and it's the same........sun spots? Not likely on both satellites at once.

Oh, and I'm in the middle of Canada so it's not a location issue.

We're having some really bad weather here (Southern Ontario) this evening. It's likely related to that.

ya.. reportedly, more likely due to the bad weather, bev had outages earlier today

And then about 5-10 minutes later, it's all back on..........strange! Any ideas? Are they shuffling and made a mistake?

Same thing here in Quebec.
They seem to be changing transponders from satellites.
There was nothing on transponders 7 and 11 (beside 12 and 24) on 82 after the return.

Hmmm........I never thought of weather problems on the uplink side. I know we had some bad weather yesterday but today the skies were clear and blue until softball time.........got a little wet but not too bad.

BEV in San francisco

What are some causes of BEV signal strength variation?
