ran a new cable from dish to unit. problem solved. readings are 129 - 34, 110 - 59, 119 - 53. hopefully these signal strength reading are ok. thanks for the help. chas

This short loss of signal reminds me of the fact that twice a year the sun lines up behind the satellites causing a loss of signal for like 20 minutes or so. I know this wasn't the cause this time but does anyone remember the approximate date for this?
