Hello,

I'm looking to purchase LNB that is a Universal KU-Band, 10.7 - 11.8 GHz for the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service.

It's used with Patriot Antenna System:
1) 1.5 meter dish, 1.5 Ku-band meter offset antenna with AZ/EL mount (Ku band for use with the AFRTS Hotbird 4 satellite service)
2) Dual tray non-penetrating mount assembly
3) Wide band LBNF
4) RG-6 cable connects to the LNB and then back to the decoder.

Any help is greatly appreciated on who would carry these.

Thank you,
SFC Terry Brummond

Sgt, I googled the specs on the patriot 1.5, shows to have feedhorn-holder bracket of 40mm, and includes a 25mm "insert, if needed" I'd suggest contacting one of our sponsors here, Galaxy-Marketing, or SatelliteAV , both should have links on the top of the pages here. Either one should be able to provide a suitable lnbf for your dish. They don't really list the "neck size" of the lnbfs on the websites, but a quick email or phone call should get you the exact answer-there's several manufacturers of lnbfs these days. Galaxy Marketing has the Chaparral brand which is well known to most of us satellite fans.

This is just a regular universal type LNBF that should be available at any local satellite shop in your region for less than $20US. No need to buy from North America and ship to Kuwait.

Good luck with your project.

Thank you Brian. I finally tracked down someone here locally that looks like their going to help.
