Hi I am working on a project and I am looking for this metal part in the picture anyone know where I can buy it or someone who has one for sale. This is for a project to mount an hh120 for my 1.2m dish.\

the base for most dn or dtv dishes should work (although they are not exactly like you requested)

here's some pic

also some of the phase III brackets make good mounts plus they skew (if needed)

wow

I have a few of those down stairs the only thing is I see in your picture there is only one bolt securing that to the motor shaft. Wouldnt you need two bolts to keep the dish from moving its elavation up and down?

there are several different ways to adapt it up one member here even put a fine tune adjustment bolt into the setup ..... let me get a link

I bought a polar mount and a standard elevation/azimuth mount for my 1.2m Channel Master dish from Dow electronics. They are the authorized Channel master retailer and let me tell you, they are built like a tank. The price and shipping was very resonable although I can't tell you what it was sice it was a year ago. I also remember several others from here buying the polar mount from them when everyone was experimenting with the micro-BUD thread.

Never mind if this isn't for your 1.2 cm dish.

Yes this is for my 1.2 channel master, but I have this mounted on a 50 foot tower (approx 20 ft up) Problem is the tower stand off I am using does not allow the jack to clear the side arm, so I am having a hard time covering the full arc. I decided to ditch the polor mount and jack(a considerable amount of weight) and go with a H-H motor to shed some weight and make my clearence problems go away. Also will held shed some weight off of my tower. I have found a few parts (with the help of the members here) that should do the trick...I will post some pics down the road.

here is a link to pics of my current set up!

stogie5150 that is a hell of an idea and I have those very parts in my basement, my hat goes off to you!!! How do you find this setup works with your 1m dish?

Absolutely flawless for about 5 months now. :)

However, I used the skew plate off of a D* Phase 3 dish on my P* 84e, that worked better...lemme see if I can find the thread for ya.

EDIT: Here ya go, this is what I did with my 84e P*. Worked much better. Better in that the elevation is easier to adjust.
