Looking for a cheap portal GPS good for travel in US and Canada

Hi im looking for a GPS to use for travel between US and Canada.. Ill be going up for months at a time in Ontario and back to the states. Anyone know if Garmain or tomtom or any of them have maps for both US and canada?

If you have a smart phone, some of them have Garmin, Tom Tom, or other GPS Apps that work exactly like the actual portable stand alone units. The cost is usually about $50 for the APP.

I actually have Garmin experience as a pilot, and I find Garmin products to be amazing. They also offer a lot of sweet deals like free map updates and stuff. Here's some more info:
