Anyone get any email info on this? (also note - the first rule fo any great deal, never call! :) )

Did you guys seriously put your credit card info into this system? With all of the fraud going on these days, I wouldn't have to think twice about not doing this.

Its a Yahoo system, they handle all of the charging, the seller does not see any credit card information, as far as I know (thats how it used to be with yahoo shops a few years ago)

Remember, if they charge you, then they enter a binding contract to ship you the item.. they can cancel the order any time before charging you, but once that happens, the gig is up.

The only way they can back out then, is if you agree for them to refund you, if you do not agree, then they must hold up their end of the bargin.

Be careful with this outfit. Their website says : "call for items we cannot post online". Could be thats why there's no price listed when ordering. You might be suprised when the bill comes. Its also located in Brooklyn N.Y.. There is alot of negetive history from dealers in Brooklyn. I'm not saying that A*King is one of them but BUYER BEWERE!

I would disregard the two reviews from 2004. How could this place go from excellent to poor in such a short time. Hmm.. makes me think...

Just received my free Sony Plasma TV this morning...just kidding! I ordered one, but I haven't been charged and they ever will. Besides doing business with reputable dealers, make sure you do business with reputable credit card companies and always maintain an excellent credit history. Almost all of our purchased are placed on our Discover Card and we have always paid of our cards at the end of the month; never once paid an interest charge on an outstanding credit card balance. On the rare occasion that we have had a problem with a company, one quick call placed into Discover and the money was instantly credited back into our account and Discover Card took over to resolve the dispute.

It really smells like one of those low-quality scam orthodox Jewish or Arab outlets in Brooklyn. I might go to visit my performance artist friend in Williamsburg - though Williamsburg heavily populated by orthodox Jews, there are some crazy artists living in loft buildings :D - next week, I'll check out this address.

Is it Time to Buy That 50-Inch Plasma TV?

Has anyone seen a non-expensive HDTV that works with PAL?
