longest cable to install dish?

Hi

I am in the middle of trees. No where to put the dish, but, my neighbor said I could do a dish on the other side of his yard! Over there, there is clear line of site 61 all the way to 92, including voom's new 72 slot for future use.

Anyway, I would need to run the wires to the new dish along a fence, with a run of about 200 feet. Is that too much?

Would I need anything special?

no 200 feet is not to much.i have done install in casinos that have been longer then that.if any thing you might need a in line sat amp

you should be okay to 200 feet..but if you want to be safe you can get quad shield solid copper conductor Rg6 cable then you should be good up to 300-350 feet
