Does anyone here know of a Greater Houston, TX source for a 90cm of 1m dish? I've searched YellowPages.com and all I can find are the DBS resellers and installers.

I'd have thought with the many different ethnic groups in Los Angeles, I could have found some good sat shops.
There are 30+ inch dishes on a lot of rooftops!
When I went looking a few years ago, I didn't find the equipment I wanted.
Since then, I've run across a few dealers in the area, but certainly not with the breadth of hardware someone like Sadoun carries.
If you don't find what you want locally, give this thread a peek for a 90cm dish.
Doubt you can do better, unless you locate a free Primestar dish, and recycle it.
Of course, if you need a system with LNB, receiver, and a few other toys, some of the vendors have package deals that are very attractive.

As dish sizes approach 1 meter the shipping becomes an issue. Most then require to be shipped by truck, with rates as high as the cost of the dish itself.
I have been on the lookout for a dish being worked on at gas stations and commercial buildings. That might be a chance to save one from a dumpster somewhere, probably for free. I missed on one at a bank earlier in the year. I couldn't leave work soon enough to catch the guy before he left.
