Anyone know when local HD channels are coming the Northeastern PA?

Can get the local feeds from Philly or NY?

Unfortunetly nobody knows because Directv hasn't said anything other than sometime after D11 goes up early next year.

If you are in Hazleton you can probably pickup the locals with an OTA antenna.

You can, though, use this page to see if you qualify for DNS service (getting it from NY). If not, you'd have to ask for a waiver from your local affiliates to get the NY feed, and you're probably better off waiting for the new satellite, from what I've heard.

antennaweb.org will tell you what type of antenna you will need for what stations. I qualified for NY Fox but I'm in Pottsville.
