Local channels in Mexico

I have 2 dishes, one is for sat 119. I get everything but tp 31, which have my local stations (Spokane). I am in Cancun.
Any ideas?

You won't get your locals because they are on a spotbeam.

As Bob says, Spokane locals (like most locals) are on a spotbeam, pointed at Spokane. Think of it as a flashlight beam coming down from the satellite. If you are not in the beam, you won't receive the stations.

Thanks guys, that was what I was afraid it was. I can get the stations as far away as Calgary, AB in my motor home so I was hoping.

Only way I know is to "sling them " over the internet.
