Local Channels for Cedar Rapids, IA

Called D* yesterday about local channels. The person I spoke to told me that their web site says I am going to get local channels this year, but then he told me that very likely they won't be able to do that until early next year.

Gosh... Back in early 2003 the reps told me that I will get locals in early 2004 (1 lie from rep), now it's pushed back to 2005 (another lie from the web site)...

E* to D* ratio in my area has increased to 100+:1 (I am the only one in my neighborhood, but I also have E*)... if not because of a better receiver (I have Executive Director Pack), I would have dumped D* after the lies.

Ya I read this from their web site too, Iceberg. But what I want to say is that the rep told me that they won't be able to make it this year.

From all determinations, these locals are going to be launched "soon"

There is even an announcement from DirecTV stating that they will be launched by October of this year. If I can dig up the link, I'll post it.
