Local Channel Transponder Differ on 311 to my 522

why would the same local stations run from a different tp on a 522 rather 311?

522 Says 119 Trans. 1
311 Says 119 Trans. 7

why would the same station differ by the receiver model? Figured it would pull off the same no matter what model rec. you have?

Your locals are transitioning most likely from one trans to another, you can go from your local broadcast to the point dish screen and see it show one sat and transponder yet if you go to the sys info screen letting it verify reception and then go to the point dish screen it will show the original sat and transponder while your locals are in the transition phase. I had this happen during a service call three weeks ago and it threw me for a loop till I figured it out.

I noticed the same thing too when i was looking at the lil for chicago at my moms house when i was there compared to my 622 here.. my moms 510 showed tp 10 where as my 622 showed tp 1

awesome thanks guys for the help! maybe after may 5th everything will be straightened out....also there is 1 channel from indy i would love to have the WB WTTV 4 i get 2 locals from indy there abc & nbc...would thenew satellite ever help me pull this in or is it strictly up to dma's on dishnetwork side?
