Local Channel Clarification Please!

I have been reading forums for a while and didnt really get a clear answer. We have DTV in WV and the zip code search (24901) says that we do not get any local channels. All the local channels we used to get over antenna are available in other towns in WV but not here. I have read various things about waivers and requesting other markets channels. What can we do? We do not need HD, just SD. I just want to be able to get ABC, CBS, PBS, NBC, and FOX.

You can apply for waivers by calling D*, but it is up to the local stations to grant them, and the usually don't.

To get locals, either HD OR SD, either one, you'll need to use an antenna.

Putting your zip code into this website: Enter Address
shows that you are eligible automatically for Fox and will have to apply for waivers for the others, which will probably not be granted since you should be able to get them with a rooftop antenna.
