loading guide on 310

I was wondering what's going on with the 310 recveivers. Why does it take so long to load the program guides on it? At times it can take up 2wards 5 mins to load. Is there updates for these boxes still? Or should I consider a new box? I know when I 1st got dish these box were super fast it was only a min and it was loaded.

SORRY what is a 310 did you transpose numbers on a 301? If so those are being discontinued so contact DISH for a possible upgrade to a 311.

Yes I ment 301 sorry.

301 is older technology and I believe the guide was always slow. Dish will give you a 311, it should be better but not as much as the newest receivers.
