circular is mainly used for DBS satellite (dish, diretv)

Some C band FTA satellites out over the Atlantic also use circular. Stick the dielectric plate in the feeds throat for those.

and in regards to inputting in the receiver...remember "RV"

Right circular polarity is the same as vertical
Left circular polarity is the same as horizontal

Never forgot that since RVing was easy to remember.

Also I remember H(orizontal) as H(igh) voltage (18 volts).
