I bought a dual polarity lnbf from ebay for $25

it says it is voltage controlled.

However, after doing a little customization, i got the feedhorn to fit inside an old scalar

but now i have a problem.

if i rotate the lnb one way, i get Vertical!

if i rotate it another i get horizontal!

but... no matter where it is rotated, i CANNOT get vertical and horizontal at the same time!!

i hooked a voltmeter up to lnb in on the 905, and the voltage wont change from 13 to 18, its stuck at 18, whats going on?

That's the problem. Either the receiver is broken, or there's a setting somewhere that's got it locked on 18V.

i called nps to get a password clear, change it to lnbf, now it works

is a quality of 90 good?

Do you have the 905 set on LNBF? Sounds like you have it set on LNB.
