Great! I've been looking for that. I wrote my own application to dynamically determine super accurate positioning for portable dishes and skew was on the short ToDo list.

I got sidetracked when the electronic compass component arrived and started working on determining magnetic declination based on lat/lon..

I used to twist the LNB until the signal was good.

I remember doing starband jobs and would set the polarization on the LNB rather than the skew on the dish.

That's an awfully tall order and certainly a whole lot more interesting than determining skew since it is constantly changing.

Yes it is!

I ended up using that exact site to get it done, in addition to multiple calibrations to determine proper adjustments for calibration, temp and self tests..

It gets me close enough now to have the dish be pointed accurately enough to get a signal to peak on.
