How do I find out if my LNB is single or universal? Which of these numbers on the box indicate the frequency of the LNB?

On the LNB it might say universal

Otherwise it may say frequency range
11.7-12.2 standard
10.7-12.2 universal

is there a model number on it?

On the box it says coolsat cs-lnbc. Also on the box, Ku-Band LNBF. On the side of the box is: rf:11070/12.20GHz
IF:950/14540MHz
LO:11.25GHz
Bain:60dB
Noise Figure:0.6dB

On my receiver, I have in motorized settings a place to enter LNB type (single, universal,OCS) and a place to enter LNB Freq.

I LIKE the 60dB Bain value ;)

Sounds like a DBS LNB, great you will be able to keep upto date with NASA and watch soccer on GOL TV.

does it say rf: 11700-12200?

that would be a standard with a LO frequency of 10750

By standard do you mean single? My choices are single, universal, and ocs.

It says Ku-Band on the box and coolsat ku-lnbf on the lnb itself.

Thanks! That worked. Now on to the motor. I love a good mystery! That's all for this thread, so thanks again!
