I ha e an old linksys wap 11 ver 2.8. It has a setting called "repeater mode". I am assuming it will repeat my other linksys wrt54g?
I would like to use it to extend my wifi out the back yard. I use my ipod touch with noise isolating etymotic isolater er6 earphones when mowing my yard listening to pandora radio via wifi. I lose signal when i get too far away.
Using the wap11 as a repeater with my 7db cushcraft wifi antennas would be nice.
Is this possible to make the wap 11 receive my wrt54g wpa secured signal and re broadcast it?
