Here is my current line of sight with a 3lnb in MD. 21108. I did trim some of the branches yesterday. Signals in the 70-90 range on 101, 90's on 119 and 110.

I'm getting ready to pole mount a Slimline slightly to the left of this current position, and I am a little worried about signal strength issues.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

Your attachments don't work. I think you need to have a certain number of posts to be able to post attachements.

Your attachments didn't work. I hope you have a better line of sight than I do. I did a slimline pole mount myself. Everything worked great but I eventually lost 119. If you look at the picture you can see a freakish pine tree growth as my luck would have it right in the path of 119. If you can try to locate it where the 3lnb was or in line of where it was. GOOD LUCK!:up

from what i can tell going to the left will hurt 101 and really hurt 99 and 103 really really badly. going to the right (further away from that tall tree) would help. also keep in mind that the signals come in at a higher angle and bounce off the dish to hit the lnb. I think (dont quote me on this) that 119 is harder to get as its lowest on the horizon.

I trimmed away a good part of that tree on the left to create a bigger gap. It seems to have helped some. Worst comes to worst, I guess that puppy will have to come down!

My current dish might have moved a tad also, charging up my new Accutrac 22 Pro, might go out and play with it a bit.

Your good if you put the KAKU in the same location.

Looks like I been on that street before .:)
