(Likely) switching from Dish Network - have questions

As installers we like to get phone lines hooked up as our jobs and pay kind of depend on it.
With SWM we only need to hook one up.
If you want to disconnect it, wait 3 days to make sure all the receivers ping.

I got a call from D* 30 minutes after the install because they couldn't ping the receivers. I had just plugged in the phone line when they called. When they asked if I had the phone jack plugged in I said "you just came up on the caller ID, so yes"
