In one corner we have E* with Tiki Barber & the installer dancing

In the other corner, we have Capt Kirk, Spock, and Chekov on the Enterprise, making wisecracks.

D*'s commercials are almost always better. This is a great one by D*.

Every time I see a new D* commercial my first thought is, "E* has a better product, why don't THEY come up with advertising this good"

I'm glad you are enjoying the commercials, we enjoy HD commercials free:hatsoff:

I'm watching the D* commercials on E*.

As an original Trekkie, who watched the show during its first run, picked up using a big antenna on top of our house as we lived 80 miles from the nearest TV station, I love seeing Kirk, Spock, and Chekov still on screen after 40 years.

Hats off to D* for this one.

Ah. You meant that the one local station that didn't come on until 3pm was an NBC affiliate that showed the original Star Trek series when you were a kid. Now I get it.

And, D* always had better commercials than E*. Always. The latest doesn't surprise me. What does surprise me is how far ahead E* has surpassed D* when it comes to programming.

How did those guys ever get any business? They created the WORST ad campaigns! They were so lame and unlike any real-world advertising.

You'd think that major TV network would be able to create decent fictional ad campaigns on one of their shows.

If you were close enough to pick up Star Trek with rabbit ears, then I definitely win. For we had to do a LOT more work to get it than you did!

None of our neighbors could watch it, for they didn't have big enough antennaes to get that station. For they were LOSERS with rabbit ears!

We were also the only people on the block with a color TV in 1966.

And my first thought is -- if E* starts spending more money on advertising, subscriber rates will go up...:(
