I tried to get on this forum but never got permission. It's been about 3 months and still nothing. Either I'm not welcome (for whatever reason) or they don't care. I'm not even sure if it's worth being a member of the forum. Is anyone here a member of that forum? Is it even legit?

It's a companion forum to Hypermegasat. It's legit, and not bad as FTA sites go. Not a lot of action there, but they post feeds of different interests.

I don't remember it being that 'locked down' in the past.
IIRR registration was automated, and got a email to confirm registration within an hour. But I haven't participated there in well over a year, maybe three.
Did you scroll to the bottom of the registration page? Hit the register button there.

It is a very good legal FTA forum owned by Casey (Hypermegasat). I am sure that there was an oversight on your registration as they welcome many new members each day. Really a very friendly group and you will find many SatelliteGuys members active on the site.

Easily the best source for up to date feed information thanks to a member "Slayer", who finds almost every feed that is up there. He is amazing with his finds and documentation to create the www.sathint.com satellite service listings.

I wouldn't call him on his 1-800 order line for an issue such as this. He's on vacation, and sometimes people just go off-line for a few days. When he's available, he'll get this fixed. Until then it can wait a bit longer.

I don't know if you have IP issues but I had a big go-around with my IP over their blocking Titanium Satellite from my mailbox. They tried to tell me the address was on a mass spammer list. I could get auto-responses from the store but nothing else. Took a few phone calls to get that fixed.

I run my own mailserver but my mail logs don't show any e-mail from them were bounced or trashed by other anti-spam software.

Legal Free To Air is a great forum, Casey is a great guy, friendly, bought a number of things from his website, never had a problem, always satisfied with my purchases. He is tops. Hope you were eventually able to get on. And yes Slayers gets all the feeds out there and updates the group.
