I dumped Dish 3 years ago with a $155 per month deal. I signed up for Sling TV for $70 and a TV antenna. (No sports)

If I post my bill for at&t cellular without discounts, or Frontier internet, or especially SiriusXM that would be equally misleading.
You wanted to end using Dish, no need to embellish.

My current bill was $243. I called to renew $40 off for 12 months, 1/2 price for Starz for 3 months , Dish movies and Dish sports for 6 months. None were available for my account with CSR or retention. I had used them in previous years to get bill into the $180 area.
After 1 week of playing around: Through Hulu Live I can use Max, Starz, Disney, Espn+, With a Firestick I can get the other apps I subscibe . I use Alexa on my Echo hands free to launch apps or view the live tv guide or change to networks or to a specific progam. I can get 7 HBO channels plus their west channel. I get more Starz channels than with Dish. I can record into the cloud as many shows as I want and auto record series either new or new and reruns. Programs are kept for up to 9 months. With the Firestick I can get picture in picture for anything on the Firestick.

Service has been excellent and you will find nothing better than the Hopper 3.

We just found we were streaming essentially every thing we like. British, European, Australian, New Zealand crime shows along with several US services and firestick local and national news.

Next month, Christmas Day to be exact, it will be one year since we left Dish to go all streaming. We did miss the simplicity of the Dish service for awhile, but now streaming what we want is second nature. We have YTTV as our primary source, with Frndly filling in a few missing channels and ESPN for the hockey season, plus several FAST apps. The bottom line is that our cost is about half what was with Dish, and when we travel with our motorhome, I no longer have to set up our manually aimed Dish. It wasn't a big deal, but it is one less thing to deal with at my advanced age.

I replaced Dish with an HD Homerun (ethernet-connected TV tuner) and a Channels DVR server ($8/mo for guide data). And I am pretty happy with it.
Channels lets you integrate live streaming channels into the same guide as your OTA channels and record them. The live streaming channels can include pay-tv subscription cable channels that support streaming via TV Everywhere, free streaming channels like Pluto TV and custom channels where you go the live streaming provider’s website and copy the actual streaming link in the web page code into Channels and add it as another channel.
Note that there was a DMCA takedown of the Pluto links. But one still works. If they take that down, you have to jump through some hoops to get it to work locally.

Note that NBC doesn’t support TV Everywhere. And support is hit and miss among pay-tv subscription services. Sling TV has less channels supported I hear. Ther are discussions in the Channels forum.

Tv Everywhere apps are being shut down because of streaming services.

So far, these have shut down-

Disney-FX Now, ABC, Disney Now, Nat Geo TV, Freeform, Watch ESPN is scheduled after the launch of the streaming service in 2025.

Paramount-Comedy Central, Paramount Network, Nick, MTV, the rest, like CBS, will be shut down in 2025

Warner-Cartoon Network and the rest will be shut down in 2025.

If I didn’t find Channels DVR, I would have gotten Sling TV to use with my OTA channels.
With the custom channels, I am able to stream my in-market ABC local news station (but not the national channel). The broadcast tower is out of range for that channel. But I can pick up an out-of-market ABC from another city. Hint, the streaming link for local news channel from their site expires after 24hrs, but comes alive again permanently after some long period of time.
Also with custom channels you can get Frank Speech, which isn’t carried by any of the free streaming conglomeration apps.
