If you recall in the last episode my motor checked out bad and I ordered a new one. Only took 2 weeks to get here by snail mail (lost in a Pa. post office for 10 days). Anyway, put every thing back togeather and I could not lock on to 95W. :rant:Those of you who are lucky enough to live in a climate that snow, below zero temps, and wind blowing 30MPH, are not a factor, will probebly not understand why it's taken me another 2 weeks to lock on to 95W. :D Today I accomplished that task ! Now remember I am old !
I am now back to where I was a month ago. I now have a SG2100 motor,6000 premium Coolsat, Invacom quad LNB, and 4 way DisEqE switch. Now I need to be sure I get the settings right so I can scan the satilites and stay nice and warm for the winter months. Iceberg understads?

Thanks to every one, Larry :)

Welcome back!

I hate when things get lost or delayed in the mail...
Congratulations on getting your setup to work again.

Enjoy scanning the sky.

i can understand the cold. couple of days ago it was in single digits with 6" of snow on the ground. had the stove in the garage burning firewood to keep me warm everytime i had to go out and adjust, trying to get montana pbs. don't know how many folks have experience with adjusting the dish but my experience says montana pbs and 87w are the most difficult to find. once i get those in, everything else is coming in good except for the count on the gbox. still figuring out what is going on there. yesterday it was finally up to freezing and clamped an 8' fence post to the stationary part of the polar mount so there would be no movement except for the gbox count. it was like a heat wave. no coat and stocking cap for a quick trip outside to adjust... why didn't i do this project in nicer weather??? charlie

Just to add to your snow problem: I still do not have any on the ground here in SNOW country. I hate snow! Interesting that others have it and not here. Really would be nice if we could all have the weather we like. Hang in there LBRD, Spring will come, I hope......

If you got 95W locked in then **Hopefully** getting the rest is just as easy as setting up the menus again. I know I wouldnt want to be out there today tryign to aim a dish (balmy 6 here in Mpls...I know Northern MN its probably below 0) ;)

Honestly the info in your other thread still is correct on how to set everything up.
