The Fourth Kind is similar in style to Blair Witch story but lacks the constant lousy camera work we saw in Blair Witch.

I tried to follow the story of Dr. Parnassus but it just kept putting me to sleep. I may give it a third chance but only after a couple cups of strong coffee.

We'll see what BB has to offer today.

Wife bought Avatar but is giving it to our daughter. I just gave her my handmedown Samsung BD1400 BluRay player.

I have the dvd version of Tombstone. I recall some really bad scenes in it PQ wise, so I wonder if there was some major limitations to what they could do with the BD

Could be. Been a while since I've seen it on DVD. Overall it looked pretty good.

Yeah, the BR was messy at times, but it's a worthwhile upgrade for me (Wife loves it)

Avatar: Movie was visually great for blue ray, but the story has been done.

One of my favorite westerns as well. I have the DVD of it and the HD broadcast from HBO or Cinemax, which looks quite good compared to the standard DVD (IMHO)...

AVATAR: wow!! like all others great to look at and listen too. did not see it at the movies but at home it looked 3D. talk about POP!!!! the story.....still worth seeing!!
