Last: The Guilt Trip

230 would not load the movie past the FBI warning. Traded it out for the 320. Played without a problem. As for the movie, didn't impress.

Next: Jack Reacher, Django Unchained, or Cloud Atlas

I can probably get two in today.

I was pleasantly surprised when I bought my ST Into Darkness via Fandango, the next day they emailed me an iTunes redemption for Star Trek (the last movie).

So I made the mistake of reading the LFE thread at AVS, after someone replied to my bass comments in the VTF15 thread. SMMFH...

I read stuff like thats the worst movie since Bourne Legacy, when my sub shut off a few times. Other comments were along the lines of having to check their sub to see if it was working. Either these folks have crappy subs, do not have them adjusted properly, or are trolls. Im sorry, but my VTF15 was rocking a big portion of The Hobbit. Granted it wasnt a lot of silent, fireplace rattling sub 20hz stuff, but the mid bass was thumping good. I really dont get people some times.

I had no problem with LFE on the Hobbit with my dual HRS-12s.

Im gonna agree 100%, Id never read it up to that point and I'm sorry i did. I use the AVS and HDD reviews for PQ only to understand the intent of the film. If I know going in there is a lot of grain, or some other funky choice, I dont sit there and obsess over it

Last: Killing Them Softly

Got a lot of great PQ reviews, I disagree. I know it was shot a certain way intentionally, but a lot of scenes did not look that good. Audio was clear and calm, but the gunshots had some authority. Movie was slow at times, good it was only like 97 mins, and the only times I got a little bored were the James Gandolfini scenes. They went on and on too much. Thought Pitt did a good job and overall I liked it, it's not for everyone though.

Well, first off, if you dont like these movies move on. Secondly, it won points with me that it wasnt a simple remake of the original like so many others have been, its set in the future after the end of the first movie (original). I was happy because Ive seen much worse so I dont regret watching it
