Someone's Watching Me! (TV Movie 1978) - IMDb

I had never watched this one, and IMO it's pretty good considering it was a TV Movie, a gem by John Carpenter.

A year before there was a movie with a similar plot on the Quinn Martin's Tales of the Unexpected, I am yet to find that one as that tv series has never been released.

Not having Rachel Weisz in the later versions is a downer for me. She and Brendan had an awesome chemistry.

The CGI has also held up pretty well.

Last month I tried watching Matrix on HD DVD, but it kept freezing up on me. Cleaning the disk didn't help. I had to abandon the idea.
RIP HD DVD...

I unwrapped the plastic off of and we watched The Scorpion King till we were falling asleep early this morning, it played just fine... I do have some discs that have problems from either the smoke and heat from the fire or disc rot.

Heck, I still will sometimes spin up an old laserdisc. I've got some titles there that have never been released since.
And on my laserdisc Hans shot first!

Bought a few dozen HD-DVDs during the fire sale for a buck each. Still watch them.
