Larger dish..any idea ?

Hi, I have a 1000 dish. Would like to improve signal. Have peaked and tweeked all I can. Any ideas as to wheter or not if the LNB's could be mounted on a larger dish. I have a superdish and a Starchoice dish just laying around. Also have a 42" round dish. Also a 10 footer. Any ideas and measurements would be appreciated. thanks, Bill

Yes, you can use all Dish LNBFs - just keep it in original focal point; I would use your 42" round one; 10' probably mesh type - doesn't compete with solid 42".

Do you mean the focal length on the 1000 or what the other one is set up for?

No, the focal point is a parameter of that antenna where you'll install Dish LNBF.

OK, got it.....thanks....will give it a try when we cool back down a little. Around 95 out there today here in mid MICHIGAN.
