Kusat 2600A Pro and DISEqC 4x1 issues

Hi,

Is it me does kusat 2600A not like DISqC swicth?
I end up loosing one connection or another.
But my pansat2700a with exact same setup and switch works without flaw.
LNB1 is AMC4
LNB2 is 76cm Dish with motor mostly at T6-T5-T8 sat's
LNB3 is Goltv at 110West
LNB4 is NASA TV at 119West

With the Kusat LNB1 and LNB2 both connected at same time i either find AMC4 or Echostar 110west but not at same time the same setup on pansat 2700a is okay.

Now i have the latest firmware i could find from http://www.digiwavetechnologies.com/index.php?module=documents&JAS_DocumentManager_op=viewDocument&JAS_Document_id=1&MMN_position=22:22

Any ideas?

And yes swicth work fine on pansat 2700a.

make sure the unit is powered off (with a switch on back) before adding and removing switch

I have used a 2x1 and a 4x1 on my KUsat with no issues

Their must be either something wrong my unit as lnb1 is now always seen okay but anything else comes and goes or does not show up and only finds what on lnb1.
I have tried several switch with no luck they all work fine with pansat 2700a so cannot be the cabling.

I was thinking could wire length about 100ft be a problem?
Icerbeg at what point in chain do have switch connected at?
Maybe kusat is more sensitive then pansat about swicth placement and wire length just grasping at straws i guess.

well lets see

I have a motorized unit on the KU sat so it goes as such

cable run from KUSat to motor...30 feet
jumper to switch
ports 1 & 2 are maybe 5 foot runs to LNB's (2 LNB's on unit)
port 4 has a 45 foot run to a separate dish for G10 (cant get G10 on the motorized...LOS issues)

I am really starting hate this Kusat
Get this when plug everything it's not it did not find sat if fact finds them in just give me transponder at if feels like.
For example without swicth plugging T5 i get all transponder put switch in and i only few tp's like 12152 but not 12177 etc...
But again Pansat 2700a as normal no problems.
I have tried 4 different switch they all cannot be bad.
New cable run as well to make sure cabling was not issues.


Any ideas?

are you turning the unit off with the switrch in the back before you swap switches?

Yes i am turning off with rear on/off button.
I have used various switches with same results.

I have had like decribed for long time and works fine with pansat 2700a.
I also tried putting switch 8ft from kusat just case results are same.

I'm going to ask an obvious question

you have the DiseQc set for each LNB, right?
(LNB A is port 1
LNB 2 is port 2
etc)

LNB1/A is AMC4 is port 1/A (Detected okay i can watch)
LNB2/B is 76cm Dish with motor mostly at T6-T5-T8 sat's is port 2/B(Found but give only limited tp set odd/even type problem but not cabling issue or other)
LNB3/C is Goltv at 110West port 3/C(Same as port 2)
LNB4/D is NASA TV at 119West port 4/D(Same as port 2)

That how i have setup and works fine with a pansat2700a.
