Same here. Does the same thing when checking the transponders on the satellite, takes a few seconds to show SQ.

Sometimes if you change the transponder frequency up or down by 1 or 2 the transponder will lock in quicker.

I've noticed it's been up and down.

One minute I'm getting 95%, ten minutes later it's at 70. An hour later it's back up.

Wonder if that has anything to do with the nasty thunderstorms down here in the central Gulf states... Possibly at the uplink.

We had a couple of storms today in which the winds were close to hurricane force. Dishes are okay though...

definetely could be uplink. I usually get it up here in Canada no problem. Haven't checked in awhile, but usually a steady 50% qual on the Fortec and 70% on the digiwave.
