KPXO (Channel 66 - Hawaii) blacked out?

Is anyone receiving KPXO Channel 66 in Hawaii or is the channel being blacked out because we receive ION on 216 & 217? The channel shows in my guide (both HD and SD) and appears to acquire the signal and operate normally (no error messages), however all that appears is a black screen. Would love to receive my ION programming on 66 since it is in HD and 216 & 217 are not.

This channel is part of the Honolulu DMA so it would not be blacked out. Are you getting the info banner when you go to this channel? Have you reset your receiver?

Yes to both questions. I can even record it on my DVR, pause, fast forward. When I first tuned to the channel, I actually thought there was just a temporary outage from the network's side of things. However, it has never showed any content since the HD channel was added to my line-up. Neither the HD or SD channels for KPXO are airing any content for me.

What is your signal strength on sat 119 trans 2? The SD version appears on our known channel issues list due to a distorted picture but I do not see anything about the HD version.

Just checked for you here on Maui and all I get is a black screen when I select the station.

It shows in the guide along with a description of what the show is supposed to be.

0066-00 is where I'm looking.

Thanks for checking...glad I'm not the only one. It really feels like this is an issue that is on the signal end and not the user's end. Signal strength on 119 spotbeam 2 is 61. I am not having any issues with any other channels.

Apparently, it is/was not on the known issues list. Thanks for the help and to everyone else out here who checked for me. Glad to know it's not just me. Hopefully, it will get fixed in the near future.

Watch it on the regular ion, Hawaii local channels are useless anyway especially their commercials are annoying.

The regular Ion is only in SD for me. KPXO is (or would be if it worked) in HD
