KPLC/KSLA and GritTV

Last year Raycom signed a deal with their stations to launch Grit. However, ThisTV still shows on the DT2 and was either supposed to be replaced or moved to the DT4. Why has it been a year since the deal was signed and no grit. WAFB sister station WBXH already has it.

because you didn't call the station apparently. who knows you ask a lot of crap over and over, it's hard to keep track.

contracts can and do run for a year or more. they may have a contract that runs for another 2 years before they can make the switch or ThisTv could have a no compete that keeps any other subchannels from being added for a certain amount of time. There are several scenarios that can be in play.

Next time in your post put in it what you have done to mitigate whatever the problem is. In this case the question you asked is fine, but you wasted other's time by giving answers that you say you have already done. The answer you gave about the contacts you have attempted in post #7 should have been in post #1.

Mpls fox should have had buzzzzr at launch but that bounce contract til September changed that.

After all this hoopla i got my answer. For the 10 th time i called KPLC and they gave me my answer

Grit will launch Jan 2016 on KPLC either on dt4 or replace This or Bounce. If Lafayette doesn't get it before (which they should), I'll be turning my antenna West

As of 12 noon, Grit TV Launched on KPLC 7.2. Yes Tampa The National Nightmare is over, LOL

Never mentioned this but KPLC said that Escape may come on 7.4 in the future but dont hold any promises

Raycom is slowly removing ThisTV from their stations and replacing it with Grit.

Its on 7-2? Looks like in some markets they've put Bounce on the -2 and added Grit to the -3 (maybe for uniformity)??
