Just got this one in my email, but felt it would be better answered here. :)

I'm a senior citizen (formerly with the Eighth US Army Support Command; Far East Service) now living on a fixed income. My wife and I were enjoying The Asian Network (TAN) on our Fortec Lifetime Ultra receiver. Now they have scrambled their programs. I can't understand why, as these are not commercial free movie channels (like HBO, CineMax, Showtime, etc.). The programs are just rebroadcasts of free SBS and MBC shows (over 3 months old). TAN has a huge amount of commercial advertising (selling all kinds of stuff right here in the US).

We live in northeast Georgia. Do you know of any other Korean entertainment (FTA) shows we could try to receive? The LyngSat listing is not current; we've tried everything on it (four different satellites). Are there descramblers available to bring in foreign channels?

Thank you,
Al

I will check tonight and try to confirm if TAN is really gone, I think it is on AMC4.

This channels been scrambled / unscrambled the last few months, lets see how long this time will be.
