KNMD has filed to FCC, will go to ATSC 3.0 mode in 6-30-21

Got my information from KYL416 which has posted on my Albuquerque's TV market on AVS forum, saying KNMD-DT a PBS station has filed to FCC that they will go to ATSC 3.0 mode on 6-30-21!

Will run at 16.6 KW, ERP on rf ch. 8 making first true full power VHF ATSC 3.0 other than KBRO-LD in Denver on rf ch. 2 which is a low power station at 3 KW, ERP.

So that is why they duplicated their programming onto the Channel 5 slot. It will be interesting to see what they carry on the ATSC 3.0 signal. I also wonder what DISH will carry as "Channel 9" on the ABQ locals.
